2009 HPDE - Watkins Glen Event

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all your help and expert instruction at the May 15th HPDE (I was in the white run group, green Miata). Like I said, I was truly lost on my first run without an instructor. My first run with you (my second run of the day) was instrumental in my learning the track, then the talk-through I had with you over the lunch break, along with some studying of the track map and mentally visualizing the track in it's entirety made my third and fourth runs truly enjoyable.

I appreciate you giving me the opportunity to chat with you during the break times in order for me to conceptualize the correct line. I have been passionate about this sport for all of twenty years, and finally being able to participate in it is really motivating me to treat it "like a job," to learn the most I possibly can given each chance I get to participate in on-track activities. I am not simply out there to see how fast it can go, I am building the skills required to make it a really enjoyable lifetime hobby.
